Social Activities within the IG Community

Genetics graduate students at Iowa State University belong to the major and to one of fourteen different departments on campus. With students and faculty spread throughout the campus including the Veterinary Medicine complex, the genetics major offers several opportunities throughout the year to gather as a group. Below are some pictures taken at various events.

In addition to activities below, students participate together in Faculty and Student Seminars and the annual IG Workshop. Students also meet at the end of each school year in May to discuss how the year went, what IG can do to improve the program, and what was positive about our activities.
